Ένα CD που ηχογραφήθηκε το 2014 στην κοινότητα του Ταιζέ

Ο μουσικός δίσκος Taizé – Music of Unity and Peace είναι αποτέλεσμα μιας άνευ προηγουμένου συνεργασίας μεταξύ της Κοινότητας και της Deutsche Grammophon / Universal Music. Οι δεύτεροι προσέφεραν την εμπειρία και την τεχνογνωσία για την παραγωγή αυτού του αλμπουμ. Η κοινότητα υποδέχθηκε το πρόγραμμα με την προοπτική να γίνει γνωστή η μουσική της σε ένα ευρύτερο κοινό. Όλοι όσοι έχουν μετάσχει σε κάποια διεθνή συνάντηση στο Ταιζέ θα συναντήσουν για ακόμη μια φορά την ατμόσφαιρα που τους άγκιξε. Πολλοί άλλοι θα ανακαλύψουν την αντανάκλαση αυτής της στοχαστικής προσευχής.

Μετά από τις γνωστές στους επισκέπτες του Ταιζέ κωδωνοκρουσίες, οδηγούμαστε σε τραγούδια ερμηνευόμενα από χωρό νέων και μουσικών από διάφορες χώρες, μερικές ηχογραφήσεις έγιναν κατά τη διάρκεια των προσευχητικών συνάξεων της κοινότητας τον Ιουλιο του 2014 καθώς επίσης μερικοί ψαλμοί αποδόδονται μόνον από τους αδελφούς. Θα μπορέσεις να ακούσεις μερικά χωροδιακά κομμάτια αποδιδόμενα από πάνω από 2500 ανθρώπους, ενώ άλλα κομμάτια μπορούν να δώσουν μια γεύση από την οικειότητα που τυλίγει την προσευχή στο Ταιζέ. Το τραγούδι “Let all who are thirsty come” περιλαμβάνεται για πρώτη φορά σε ηχογράφηση.

“Τόσες πολλές καταστάσεις στον κόσμο έχουν ανάγκη ειρήνης” σημειώνει ο αδελφός Αλοϊς, ηγούμενος του Ταιζέ, στο τέυχος που συνοδεύει το CD.“ Όμως η ειρήνη πρέπει να έρθει στις καρδιές μας. Η ειρήνη δεν σημαίνει ότι θα έχουμε πάντα μια εύκολη ζωή, όμως σημαίνει ότι πιστεύουμε ότι αυτή η ειρήνη είναι δυνατή.”

Ο Mark Wilkinson, πρόεδρος της Deutsche Grammophon, είναι ευχαριστημένος από την ηχογράφηση: "Αυτή ή ειδιαίτερη, συναισθηματική, συγκινητική μουσική αξίζει να βρει ένα ευρύ κοινό.
