Jesus said to his disciples: In a short time the world will no longer see me, but you will see that I live and you will also live.

God says: Call me and I shall answer you, and tell you great and unsearchable things of which you know nothing.

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have welcomed angels without knowing it.

The one whom God has sent, Jesus Christ, speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

Taking the nature of a servant, Christ became as human beings are. And he humbled himself still further, remaining faithful to the point of death, and death on a cross. Therefore God has exalted him, and has given him the name that is above all other names.

The Spirit comes to help us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray properly. But the Spirit intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Jesus said: I shall ask the Father, and he will give you another Counsellor who will stay with you for ever — the Spirit of truth.

Jesus prayed: Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you and give eternal life to all those you have given him.
